For the second test in succession it looks like we’re going to have a test that goes into the fifth day. That will give me a chance to make it up to you because my involvement today has been shortened due to a wife/birthday situation. But I do have one thing I want to say…

TO ABUSE a well-worn sports-data cliché, at some point in the future Daryl Mitchell will regress to the mean.

At present, the raw, unsophisticated numbers put the 31 year old up there with the gods of the game. Mitchell, however, doesn’t bat like a god - more like somebody who’d mock those who waste their time worshipping false prophets.
