Awesome performance by the Polish referee Syzman Marciniak. Was hardly noticeable, always the best metric for judging a judge, and got the calls right. His instant judgment on the Marcus Thuram simulation was outstanding.
Yes, he was excellent. One minor gripe was he maybe could have done more to stop Martinez’ gamesmanship in the shootout… but also acknowledge some people actually like that carry on.
