Time to sell Auckland’s three stadia and build a decent one on the waterfront. Multi use. Retractable seating. A roof. Pubs and restaurants on hand. Public transport. Holy moly…almost like a grown up city.

Great yorker analysis from the Jav. Maybe it's time for T20 sides to look at a death specialist bowler, who only bowls 14th-20th over (and probably ideally bats in the top 6)?

And maybe the next thing we need to talk about is player mics...crazy that an international player had to ask for silence on a broadcast. Let a fielder be mic-ed up, but not a guy about to take strike and should be thinking about a million other things about his game than answering another inane question

My god have to agree. We played the 1st t20 one way on a rugby ground (short sideways) and the next 2 on another rugby ground (short longways). Bad shots scoring many 6s. A hard watch. As Edwyn Collins sang, Rip it up and start again

Thank you for the yorker info. This will help me when my husband says why don’t they bowl yorkers any more and my best response is that they’re hard to deliver well and batters just usually smash them. I know have analysis and facts. Excellent.

Top drawer breakdown of the yorker. Clearly there’s no silver bullet to develop it in our players, but is there more than just relying on enigmas coming through the ranks?

Good work on the Yorker Dylan. Some good points there but that said I think you’ve done a fantastic job of making the possible seem impossible. And why didn’t Dale Steyn try and bowl a Yorker? Dunno - but the length ball he did bowl went over cow corner for six....so I’m unconvinced but hey....
