CTE and slap fighting. Is that a bit of an unfortunate juxtaposition?

Very interesting article about rapid stadium erection. Can this lot just whack up a 15,000 seater rectangle number in the tank farm and everyone’s a winner?

Quite a day for golf in the USA/Canada last weekend. A Scotsman named McIntyre won the PGA Tour Canadian Open and collected US$1.6M for his efforts. But further south a young Japanese lady - Yuka Saso - won the US Womens Open - for the second time - and picked up US$2.4M. Yes you read that right. A far bigger collect for the women's winner than for the men's. Given that the women's event was a major, that difference was most appropriate. First time ever I believe.

Of significance is the huge impact being made by Asian women on golf. Of the top 15 finishes in the Womens US Open, 12 were Asian. The other three consisted of two white Americans and Australian Minjoo Lee, whose Asian links are similar to our own Lydia Ko. Japanese women had six players in the top ten. Thailand had three in the top six. So, why don't Asian men feature as prominently? Go figure?

Not to mention Ryan Fox, who lead the Canadian Open by 4 shots after 43 holes. A shame he fell away
