I desperately want to love Sodhi and want him to be world class. However, I have no idea how he's got this far whilst essentially being a roadcone in the field.

Option d) stomp around the house all day Sunday, wondering if we are ever not going to get done over by arcane or obscure rules in a World Cup?

Our bowling stocks do seem very thin, compounded by injuries and loss of form. Is Milne injured as well? I know he’s not there but would have thought he would have been a better replacement than Jamieson.

Rarely has the score/overs recalculation system invented by Vera Duckworth and Jerry Lee Lewis seemed so maddeningly inappropriate for the situation. The odds of Pakistan's luck holding out for 200 in 24 overs were longer than Fakhar's hitting. C'est la vatory

Dylan, this is probably a silly question at this stage of the tournament but what radio station has the WC cricket commentary? I’ve tried the usual suspects to no avail and even googling it doesn’t give me the right answer. Any help appreciated as my better half is tired of the iPad in bed!! Cheers!

Pretty much sums up how I see it. I couldn’t see Pakistan sustaining that over another 25 overs, which is pretty much the point of posting 400 isn’t it? That said we’ve had some bowling meltdowns this CWC, not helped by injuries, but it does look like we’ve done nothing to rebuild our bowling stocks in a long time - Henry, Southee & Boult are all 2015 CWC vintage. Boult has been pretty disappointing as the leader of the attack. Overall I’ve seen enough to say there are some real bright spots but I can’t see us threatening the title. India has been outstanding, with the most pinpoint accurate seam attack in living memory, especially considering the batter friendly conditions.

I'm not a football obsessive, but I do recommend the sports writing of Jonathan Wilson, and the brilliant Barney Ronay and Jonathan Liew at The Guardian. The Guardian's Football Weekly hosted by Max Rushden is an entertaining Podcast too, if you are wanting to keep an eye on the Premier League.
